Peter S. Kaye, M.D., FACG

Dr. Kaye joined the practice in January, 1996. He received his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, N.Y. in 1989. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of California, San Diego from 1989 – 1994. He was on faculty in the Department of Gastroenterology at the University of California, San Diego from 1994 until joining our practice.

Dr. Kaye is Board Certified in Gastroenterology. His many honors include being chosen as one of the top 200 doctors in Colorado in a Rocky Mountain News poll in 1998. In 1999, he was promoted by the American College of Gastroenterology to the level of Fellow (FACG), one of only 25 gastroenterologists with this distinction in Colorado. Dr. Kaye is an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He is author of multiple publications in gastroenterology research journals.

Dr. Kaye specializes in all aspects of gastroenterology and digestive diseases such as colon cancer screening and reflux disease. He performs a large volume of gastroenterology procedures, including colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, biliary procedures and laser. He is on Medical Staff at Boulder Community’s Broadway and Foothills Hospital, Longmont United Hospital, Exempla Good Samaritan Hospital and Avista Adventist Hospital.

Dr. Kaye and his wife, Gail, enjoy living in Boulder County. He is an avid trail runner and soccer player. His personal mission is to help patients improve their digestive symptoms and offer preventive services in a communicative, interactive and caring manner.
