Please welcome Elizabeth Nguyen, DO, gastroenterologist. Dr. Nguyen will begin practicing at Gastroenterology of the Rockies in our Boulder and Denver GI clinics starting October of 2026.
Dr. Nguyen is board-certified in Internal Medicine and board-eligible in Gastroenterology in 2026.
Her clinical interests include colorectal cancer prevention and screening, liver disease and the diagnostic evaluation of gastrointestinal bleeding and anemia. Dr. Nguyen will also join our female gastro services team comprised of female providers that address female-specific needs.
Dr. Nguyen earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Dallas in Irving, Texas. She then completed medical school at the University of North Texas Health Science Center Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, in Fort Worth, Texas—followed by her Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology fellowship at Medical City Fort Worth.
Dr. Nguyen aspires to bring clear, compassionate and deeply individualized GI care to the communities she serves. She wants every patient to leave an appointment feeling heard, respected and equipped with a plan they understand.
Dr. Nguyen’s path to gastroenterology began early and intentionally. During medical school, she pursued multiple elective rotations in GI. The mentorship she received during those rotations reinforced her interest and helped shape her commitment to a career in digestive health.
Dr. Nguyen eventually found a specialty that matched how she wanted to practice medicine: thoughtful, hands-on and prevention-focused. She’s also deeply committed to a patient-centered care approach with all patients she treats.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Nguyen is happiest exploring new places, trying new recipes and reading a great book. She brings that same curiosity to medicine. Dr. Nguyen approaches each patient’s story with attention, care and a desire to understand the full picture.
