High-Quality Colonoscopies

High-Quality Colonoscopies

The Adenoma Detection Rate (ADR) has been widely accepted by expert groups as an important colonoscopy quality measure for endoscopy facilities and professionals. ADR is defined as “the rate at which a physician finds one or more precancerous polyps during a normal screening colonoscopy procedure for patients 45 years old.”

The American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) has determined that the minimal benchmark rate for a physicians’ ADR is 30% for males and 20% for females with an overall average of 25%.

Gastroenterology of the Rockies physicians exceed the minimum professional Adenoma Detection Rate by averaging 53.55% for males and 38.04% for females. This is a total average of 183% greater than the minimum standard.

A Good Value

Gastroenterology of the Rockies is dedicated to providing the best healthcare services available for the well-being of all our patients. We also believe that good healthcare should be made affordable for every individual. This is why we focus on delivering a good value to our patients, which simply means high-quality healthcare at a very affordable price.

Our colonoscopies are performed in Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs), which are modern healthcare facilities focused on providing same-day surgical care, including diagnostic and preventive procedures. ASCs have transformed the outpatient experience for millions of Americans by providing them with a more convenient alternative to hospital-based outpatient procedures—and done so with a strong track record of quality care and positive patient outcomes.

ASCs are also more cost-effective than traditional healthcare facilities and allow us to mange our costs more efficiently. We then can pass these cost savings down to our patients and allow them to better manage their healthcare options.

Compassionate, Coordination of Care

Compassionate, Coordination of Care

We have been members of the community for over 30 years and we call Colorado our home. We live, work and play within the greater Boulder and Denver area, and we are humble to be in such a beautiful place. Being a part of this great community gives us great pride and responsibility to provide excellent healthcare for our extended Colorado families.

Gastroenterology of the Rockies is committed to providing compassionate, coordinated care for every individual. We seek to achieve this high-standard of care in several different ways.

  • An in-house Pathology Lab that allows for faster turnaround times for procedure results, is usually completed from 48-72 business hours of receiving labs. This allows for us to then communicate more efficiently and quickly with our patient’s, and provide follow-up recommendations.
  • We also accept direct colonoscopy referrals without an initial GI consultation for patient’s that need urgent care.
  • We have an in-house authorization and insurance verification for all payers, to better help patients manage their insurance needs.
  • Access to provider consultation line for immediate consultations.
