Emily Stewart

PA-C

Emily joined Gastroenterology of the Rockies in 2026.  She sees patients at our GI clinic in Lafayette. Emily also joined our female gastro services team comprised of female GI specialists.

Emily is nationally board certified by the NCCPA. She’s practiced medicine in the Denver area since 2019 and aspires to deliver exceptional, whole-person care.  Emily brings six years of primary care experience which includes treating patients with chronic disease management needs.

She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Drury University, in Springfield, MO. She then received a master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from The University of Colorado-Anschutz Child Health Associate/Physician Assistant program, in Aurora, Colorado.

Prior to joining GI of the Rockies, she spent her career serving vulnerable, underserved communities throughout the Denver metro area in various community health centers. She has extensive experience helping patients manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension and chronic kidney disease. Her background in primary care has prepared Emily to take a whole-person approach to patient care. She acheives this through patient interactions that include listening, asking questions and creating a shared decision making environment with her patients.

We are excited to have Emily on the team. Emily said she’s eager to get started as a GI specialist in Lafayette and is looking forward to seeing her patients here at GI of the Rockies.
