Please welcome Gastroenterologist Gregory Toy, MD, who will join Gastroenterology of the Rockies in October 2026. Patients can start booking appointments with him now. Dr. Toy will treat patients at our Boulder and Lafayette locations.
Dr. Toy will treat patients in need of advanced therapeutics. This may include removal of large colon polyps, complex biliary and pancreatic pathology, and staging of cancers. Additionally, he may see patients with complex GI conditions like IBD. His caseload will involve advanced endoscopic procedures like ERCP, EUS, EGD—and colonoscopy.
Educational Background
Dr. Toy earned a bachelor’s degree in applied economics and management with a minor in biology from Cornell University. He then earned his Doctor of Medicine from SUNY Downstate. Following medical school, he completed his Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Utah. He went on to complete an Advanced Endoscopy fellowship at the University of Miami, furthering his training in advanced endoscopic procedures.
Part of Dr. Toy’s other medical experience includes working as an anatomy instructor and also managing internal medicine night admissions. He’s also a frequent contributor to scores of medical journals — through manuscripts, presentations and abstracts.
