Dr. Montbriand was a founding partner and Chief Executive Officer of Gastroenterology of the Rockies. During his leadership, the practice grew from a single physician in 1988 to over 18 physicians and more than 150 employees during his 31 years as CEO. He retired from the practice on April 30, 2019.
During Dr. Montbriand’s tenure, Gastroenterology of the Rockies achieved substantial growth and acclaimed success building a reputation as a center of gastrointestinal excellence in the greater Denver and Boulder area. The practice was recognized as a leader in delivering a very high level of patient care, developed advanced technologies and business operations, and pioneered the strategic partnerships of ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) with hospital systems in the state of Colorado.
Dr. Montbriand also founded Medamorph, LLC, a medical services organization providing business development consulting services, medical billing, accounting, marketing, IT and human resource services for gastroenterology and pathology practices, ambulatory surgical centers, and hospital joint venture operations.
