Katie started with Gastroenterology of the Rockies in 2019. She treats patients with a wide range of digestive disorders. Katie sees patients out of our GI clinic in Lafayette — and she’s part of our female gastro services team comprised of female GI specialists.
In addition to a wide range of knowledge about digestive conditions, Katie has an interest in helping patients manage Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and has completed additional training to deepen her knowledge base.
Katie likes to educate patients so they understand their diagnosis. She also takes time to help them learn why certain treatment plans might work better than others. Katie is a big believer in shared decision-making when working with patients.
Katie enjoys helping patients restore their health and regain an improved quality of life. She is always thrilled to hear when her patients can finally resume activities they’ve missed out on from the limitations of their digestive ailments.
Katie graduated with a bachelor’s degree in health science from University of North Florida in Jacksonville, FL. She concentrated her studies with an emphasis in community health. She then pursued her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from George Washington University in Washington, DC.
