Dr. Bersentes joined the practice in July of 1997 and she retired from the practice in April of 2019.
She received her medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine, Seattle, Washington, in 1991. She completed her Residency in Internal Medicine at the University of California, San Diego, in 1994 and her Fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Arizona, Tucson, in 1997.
Dr. Bersentes is Board Certified in Gastroenterology and is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Colorado, Denver. In 2004, she received the designation FACP (Fellow of the American College of Physicians), in recognition of her ongoing service and contributions to medicine through published articles in peer reviewed journals and her academic activities at the University of Colorado.
