Dr. Seto is a board-certified gastroenterologist at Gastroenterology of the Rockies — where he primarily sees patients in our Lakewood and Northglenn GI clinics.
He graduated from Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Parker, Colorado. During his time in medical school, he fell in love with Colorado and is happy he’s able to provide high-quality care in his patients in Denver.
Dr. Seto completed his internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at Medical City Fort Worth in Fort Worth, TX, where he served as chief fellow for his gastroenterology program. In his final year, he was voted “Fellow of the Year” by the residents and fellows from all the programs at Medical City Fort Worth, exemplifying congeniality, professionalism, and education. In addition to his passion about preventative medicine including screenings and surveillance colonoscopies, and EGDs — Dr. Seto completed additional training in ERCP and advanced biliary interventions.
Dr. Seto is a strong believer in patient education and allowing everyone to feel empowered and in control of their individual health. He believes that one of the best aspects of gastroenterology is helping prevent colon cancer via screenings and surveillance colonoscopies, as well as preventing esophageal cancer that can arise from uncontrolled reflux.
Dr. Seto thrives in adversity and is always looking to challenge himself physically and mentally. This culminated in him completing an Ironman triathlon in 2015 as a way to celebrate the start of his gastroenterology fellowship. He continues to enjoy swimming, cycling, running, skiing, hiking, and camping. Most of all, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children.
