Please welcome Natalia Zbib, MD, gastroenterologist. Dr. Zbib will join Gastroenterology of the Rockies in September 2026. She specializes in the diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal and liver diseases.
Dr. Zbib will treat patients in our Northglenn and Denver GI clinics.
When asked what makes the GI specialty rewarding for her, here’s what Dr. Zbib said: “Gastroenterology is rewarding because it combines meaningful longitudinal patient relationships with the ability to make a tangible impact on patients’ quality of life and long-term health.”
She graduated with honors in neuroscience from Dartmouth College. Dr. Zbib earned her medical degree from Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. She then completed her residency training in Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan—followed by a fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.
Through her fellowship training at one of the nation’s leading cancer centers, Dr. Zbib gained extensive experience caring for patients with gastrointestinal malignancies, premalignant gastrointestinal conditions, and hereditary cancer syndromes with genetic predispositions to cancer. She has a special clinical interest in Barrett’s esophagus and the endoscopic treatment and prevention of esophageal cancer.
In addition to her clinical training, Dr. Zbib has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications across a range of gastroenterology topics and served as lead author of a published book chapter in the field.
Outside the clinic, she enjoys hiking and spending time outdoors.
