Our Unified Approach to Combatting COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic continues to be a major concern of Gastroenterology of the Rockies and we remain committed to deliver high-quality and patient-centered care throughout this pandemic. Gastroenterology of the Rockies remains diligent in our efforts to support the rollout of the vaccines and other preventative measures to manage the spread of COVID-19.

We are also concerned with the effects the pandemic has on our community’s willingness to continue with their proactive healthcare including cancer screenings. With the initial outbreak of COVID, we saw a sharp decline in elective procedures and people neglecting their proactive health. Our commitment to safety and infection controls should offer some confidence in reducing hesitancy with seeking needed services like colonoscopy and chronic care management of IBD.

Gastroenterology of the Rockies is aligned in our mission with other gastrointestinal leaders to do our part to minimize the effects of the pandemic.
