Dress In Blue Day 2023: Raising Awareness for Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month

Team Gastro of the Rockies dressed in their blues on Friday, March 3rd in support of the Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month’s “Dress In Blue Day!” It was great to see so many team members help raise awareness for colon cancer as it’s the third most common form of cancer diagnosed in the U.S.

With almost 150,000 new cases every year, it is Gastroenterology of the Rockies mission to help eliminate colon cancer. Some studies also indicate that by 2030, colorectal cancer may be the leading cause of cancer death in adults under 50. Early detection is crucial to the prevention of colon cancer and the recommended screening age has now been reduced to 45. So tell your friends and family to get screened today!
