Sarah joined Gastroenterology of the Rockies in 2021. She sees patients at our GI clinic in Northglenn. And she’s also part of our female gastro services team comprised of female GI specialists.
Sarah received her Bachelor’s of Science in biology with a minor in chemistry from the University of North Texas, in Denton, Texas.
She then attended the UT Southwestern School of Health Professions in Dallas, Texas, where she earned her master’s in Physician Assistant Studies.
Prior to becoming a physician assistant, Sarah was a medical scribe at a gastroenterology clinic, which ignited her interest in the field.
In her first three years as physician assistant, she worked in the specialties of emergency medicine and urgent care. Her experience evaluating patients with emergent GI conditions furthered her interest in gastroenterology which led her into this specialty.
Sarah is dedicated to providing her patients with exceptional medical care and strives to create an environment where they feel valued and understood. She takes an evidence-based approach to helping patients decrease symptoms caused by common gastrointestinal disorders.
Sarah is passionate about improving the quality of life for those suffering with Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (IBD) such as Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis, but also has a special interest in all aspects of liver disease.
Outside of the office, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband and their rescue pup named Buddy. She loves all outdoor pursuits, especially hiking, bike riding and fishing.
